Saturday Acrylic Workshops!

Monthly real-life painting workshops in Willesden Green, Northwest London. All levels welcome including beginners!

Join us for a fun afternoon once a month and learn to paint in acrylics.
Susi and Francine are patient and experienced teachers!
If you are curious about painting, like bold colours and admire the art of Van Gogh and Hockney then Saturday Acrylic Workshops for Beginners will be the best choice you can make to get you started.
Never done any painting before? Don’t have any paints, suitable paper or brushes? No worries - please come to your first class just as you are! We will supply everything - after that, if you enjoy it, and would like to come again please see the list below. You don’t have to buy it all at once, we will have some extra materials to share until you collect all your materials! Do contact us if you need advice on materials.
Willesen Green Studios London NW10, is just 8 mins’ walk from Willesden Green station (Jubilee Line).

SUBJECT: Face Off! more portraiture - bring a photo of someone you would like to make a painting OR you can bring a portrait painting to make a study of (it’s a great way to learn techniques)

We will provide paper and all materials for your first time with us. And we always bring extra materials in case you run out or have forgotten something.
You will need for your second and subsequent classes:
An A3 Acrylic or Watercolour paper pad (look for ‘300gsm Cold Pressed paper’)
A set of acrylic paints (Cass Art own brand is about £16.50 for 8 large tubes. Beginner sets approx £10 for 8-10 small tubes in WH Smith or an artshop.)
3 or 4 brushes (they must be for acrylic paint)
A ‘tear-off’ palette or an old white china plate
A roll of masking tape
Don’t forget an apron!
